June Events in Cripple Creek and Victor

It’s summer and the activities in the Cripple Creek Victor District are gearing up!
The Butte Theater in Cripple Creek is gearing up for another round of great shows. Starting with the Cripple Creek Ragtime Review which runs June 2nd through July 28th.  After Dark A classic Melodrama and Olio runs June 23rd through August 24th. Annie, Get Your Gun runs June 30th through August 26th. I for one am looking forward to another great year of shows!
The fifth Top of the World Rodeo kicks off June 9th with the Championship Belgium Draft Horse team at the Bronco Billy’s Parking lot. The 10th will start with a pancake breakfast at the Fire station from 7-11 am. The parade will be start at 11 and mutton busting kicks off the rodeo at 12:30. At 6 there will be a street dance and beer garden. The 11th pancake breakfast from 7-11 at the Fire station, Noon mutton busting with Rodeo Performance at 1.
The 21st Annual Once Upon a Time in the West Art Show will be held June 23rd through July 5th at the Cripple Creek Heritage Center.
Donkey Derby Days is June 23rd through June 25th. Come join Cripple Creek in celebrating their mining heritage and the Donkeys that helped make it all possible!
